Detox teas are essentially herbal teas used to detoxify the body. They have become an increasingly popular way for health-conscious people to detox after heavy foods, alcohol, drugs, and even their livers in general. In some ways, this practice of detoxification is nothing new, and neither is Traditional Medicinals Organic EveryDay Detox Tea, which is what makes it so effective. It draws on time-tested and proven methods to purify the body and even assist in weight loss.

Samantha, yes absolutely! We don’t ever recommend “starve yourself” detoxes. There is a much healthier way to achieve great results than depriving your body of nutrients for a few days. I would recommend sticking to lighter foods though. You can detox from specific things such as sugar and carbs or you can try a smoothie/juice detox. Just try to fill up on salads and veggies rather than heavier stuff like meats during a detox. I hope that helps!
Holy Thistle. Holy thistle is known to detoxify the liver, treat hormone balance, and help with arthritis. This ingredient has been used in traditional medicine for over 2000 years to treat a wide array of medical issues. The detoxifying claims are made since Holy thistle contains Silymarin, which is a flavonoid that is known to help protect the liver.
I ordered the bundle deal that came with am/pm pills am/pm tea, detox ibook, workout plan, eating guide and free bottle.. to begin with the bottle was not the one in the picture its clear without any writing on it. my pm tea was mislabeled with am.. when I talked to the women on the chat all she could do was say sorry nothing more.. I started my first day today and it made me sick.. ive puked a few times today from the tea/ detox water.. im hoping its just a fluke and that it wont be an everyday thing otherwise I can see why you would lose that much weight a week.
Since Iaso Tea contains chamomile, an herb that is shown to provide sleep-aiding benefits, and it has no caffeine, we can start to believe their claim of better sleep to be true. Chamomile has been praised for its relaxing and sleep-promoting effects on its own, and in the tea, as it also works synergistically with the other ingredients to work better. The “detoxifying” effects of the tea are also supposed to promote relaxation as well.
Note: Detox teas aren’t regulated by the FDA and may contain ingredients or additives that may be detrimental to your health in the long run. Excessive consumption of detox teas may lead to bloating, dehydration, diarrhea, electrolyte imbalance, gas, and nausea. Hence, it is important to consult a dietitian before going for detox teas, especially if you want to lose weight.
The Carica papaya extract plant originated within southern Mexico and Central America and is believed to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. These properties provide benefits for your weight loss and health journey by reducing bloating symptoms and protecting against free radicals. The plant also has been known to provide wound healing properties as well.
