Research has found that drinking tea may help lower your risk of stroke and heart disease, lower your blood pressure, improve your mood, and even help with weight loss. There is still so much to learn about the detoxifying properties of teas and the many ingredients used in them. What we do know is that it tastes great, helps get healthy nutrients into your body, increases your water intake (which will help with weight loss and other water benefits), and may help ease some pains and inflammation. Whether you’re drinking it for a weight loss cleanse, to flush your system of toxins, or just because you like the taste, detox teas are a great way to drink more water and add antioxidants to your diet. Start slow, some tea detox products include natural laxatives, so it’s best you know how your body will react on one tea bag a day before increasing.
With there being many weight loss teas on the market all claiming similar results, it is hard to stay on top and reputable. Drinking tea, in general, is a great way to increase the number of fluids you drink a day while also encouraging a healthier lifestyle. However, there are many negative benefits and negative connotations against “diet teas” since they contain diuretics or laxatives, much like our dandelion tea weight loss and ballerina tea weight loss.
Weight Regulation. Many people associate cannabis with a stimulated appetite, and when you smoke the plant, you feel naturally hungrier. However, that is not the case when it comes to consuming CBD and hemp extract. CBD is suggested to reduce appetite and control obesity because the CB1 receptor, which stimulates the appetite, is blocked off by CBD naturally. Instead of completely deactivating the CB1 receptors, CBD influences other molecules to block them off, which helps reduce the appetite and overeating.
Tropical Chamomile Tea - With its blend of chamomile, lemon myrtle and rose hips, this delicate tea is perfect as a mid-day treat or a nightcap. This calming, individually packed tea is perfect for de-stressing after a hectic afternoon or winding down at the end of the day. It has a delicate taste and a beautiful aroma that will make tea time your favorite time of day.
As mentioned in our previous guides, you need to be eating healthier and exercising more consistently to see these types of results. This is important because having a boost in these areas not only help in daily life but also to help you stay on track in your weight loss journey. Studies have shown that people who eat healthier and exercises more consistently are more likely to be happier and have greater wellbeing, which can’t be achieved from the drink alone.
Samantha, yes absolutely! We don’t ever recommend “starve yourself” detoxes. There is a much healthier way to achieve great results than depriving your body of nutrients for a few days. I would recommend sticking to lighter foods though. You can detox from specific things such as sugar and carbs or you can try a smoothie/juice detox. Just try to fill up on salads and veggies rather than heavier stuff like meats during a detox. I hope that helps!
