Hi! I’m Sophie Summers, a certified personal trainer, and nutrition coach. I love sharing my passion for nutrition and healthy living with my readers. I believe that healthy living encompasses all areas of our lives (body, mind, and soul). I hope to inspire women to lead an active, healthy, and mindful lifestyle. Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey!
When shopping for a weight loss/detox tea, it’s important to know the difference between a product that is a great value and one that is a higher price than it should be. Currently in the market, a great price for a detox tea is a little over $1.00 per serving. When teas start to go up to around $2.00 per serving or higher, they are considered pricy. And with anything far less than $1.00 per serving, we may start to question the quality of the teas.
Chocolate - Don’t you wish you could have chocolate and not gain the chocolate weight? Now you can! The rich chocolate flavor overwhelms your taste buds to create a truly satisfying experience. Every cup sends a smooth boost of energy that is perfect to push through the 2:30 feeling while the antioxidants help improve overall health. Immerse yourself in the decadence of this tea and you’ll never be the same again.
Samantha, yes absolutely! We don’t ever recommend “starve yourself” detoxes. There is a much healthier way to achieve great results than depriving your body of nutrients for a few days. I would recommend sticking to lighter foods though. You can detox from specific things such as sugar and carbs or you can try a smoothie/juice detox. Just try to fill up on salads and veggies rather than heavier stuff like meats during a detox. I hope that helps!
With there being many weight loss teas on the market all claiming similar results, it is hard to stay on top and reputable. Drinking tea, in general, is a great way to increase the number of fluids you drink a day while also encouraging a healthier lifestyle. However, there are many negative benefits and negative connotations against “diet teas” since they contain diuretics or laxatives, much like our dandelion tea weight loss and ballerina tea weight loss.
On our website, we always promote eating healthy and exercising consistently, but there are several weight loss supplements out there that can genuinely help you in your journey. Iaso Tea is natural “detox” tea that can only provide real benefits if you put in the energy as well, such as eating a healthy diet, exercise consistently, and drinking the tea consistently. Weight loss won’t happen overnight, but over a period of time, you will see long term results that can last longer than the popular fad diets.

I boil 8oz of water and put 2 tea bags in at night. If I feel very bloated when I wake up, I boil another 8oz of water and put 2 tea bags in. If you are trying to lose weight, I HIGHLY recommend drinking this tea at night. I feel amazing when I wake up in the morning. I was able to lose 60 pounds and I owe a lot of it to this tea for taking the extra bloating and the edge off. I really enjoy drinking it at night too because it soothes me, and I feel like it helps my body burn more fat as I sleep.
Iaso Tea claims to detox your body to help with losing weight more efficiently and clearing your body of harmful toxins. Their claims of purifying the blood and regulating bowel function also go into this category as well. The claim also seems a bit bold to us since the human body has it’s very own way of breaking down and removing these toxins such as our liver, kidneys, and skin. There isn’t much research done to prove that our body needs extra help with these functions, which makes it a bit useless.
In fact, there is no hard evidence backing the claims made by tea companies that their detox teas actually purify human cells. However, high-quality teas can help support the body's natural daily process of detoxification-just as much as other foods and drinks can hurt this system, says Laura Lagano, R.D., a New Jersey-based holistic nutritionist. As long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with stomach issues. As I got older, I started to get horrible acid reflux. I would take Zantac, Nexium, etc and it would never completely take the edge off. One day I picked up this tea on a whim and it CHANGED MY LIFE. I have not had acid reflux at all since I’ve started drinking this tea. I even tested it by taking a break from drinking this tea and the acid reflux instantly comes back.
