Research has found that drinking tea may help lower your risk of stroke and heart disease, lower your blood pressure, improve your mood, and even help with weight loss. There is still so much to learn about the detoxifying properties of teas and the many ingredients used in them. What we do know is that it tastes great, helps get healthy nutrients into your body, increases your water intake (which will help with weight loss and other water benefits), and may help ease some pains and inflammation. I absolutely LOVE this tea! I drink about 3-4 hot cups a day... with a touch of honey, a squeeze of fresh lemon and a sprig of fresh mint, it is absolutely the best! I've had it by itself without anything added and it's still absolutely the best! I've also noticed that when I drink it on a regular basis, my tummy feels flatter and my body and mind feel cleaner. I've yet to try it as an iced tea but, I think that I'll do that tomorrow and I'm sure that it will be as good cold as it is hot! I love the fact that I can buy it on Amazon in bulk for such a great price! I'm a Yogi Peach Detox fan and I'll be a customer for life!
Since Iaso Tea contains chamomile, an herb that is shown to provide sleep-aiding benefits, and it has no caffeine, we can start to believe their claim of better sleep to be true. Chamomile has been praised for its relaxing and sleep-promoting effects on its own, and in the tea, as it also works synergistically with the other ingredients to work better. The “detoxifying” effects of the tea are also supposed to promote relaxation as well.
Both nutritionists we spoke to agree that drinking tea when you wake up and before bed can help your system rev up and calm down, depending on which variety you choose. If you're a tea fanatic, work in a few cups throughout the day: Unless you're sensitive to caffeine, you can probably handle five to seven cups a day without any negative side effects, says Lagano.

I boil 8oz of water and put 2 tea bags in at night. If I feel very bloated when I wake up, I boil another 8oz of water and put 2 tea bags in. If you are trying to lose weight, I HIGHLY recommend drinking this tea at night. I feel amazing when I wake up in the morning. I was able to lose 60 pounds and I owe a lot of it to this tea for taking the extra bloating and the edge off. I really enjoy drinking it at night too because it soothes me, and I feel like it helps my body burn more fat as I sleep.
When used as directed and supplemented with a healthy diet devoid of red meat, sugar and greasy or deep fried foods, you can get all of the above health benefits of diet teas. Organic and natural detox teas support liver function and glutathione production. They also support gastrointestinal health and eliminate toxic overload rapidly from your body.
It is essential to read reviews on the long term results of weight loss, which there is some information on. Most of the time, products like Iaso Tea help people stick to their healthy lifestyles more strictly to help the tea work better, and that does help to a great extent. As we have said many times before, no supplement, no special tea, or magic pill can do all of the work for you. However, some of these products can help make the results more significant; you just have to work with these products to see actual results.
Iaso Tea claims to flush the harmful toxins out from the upper and lower intestines to provide several different benefits. However, the human body has its own ability to breakdown and remove these toxins from namely the liver, kidneys, and skin. This leads us to believe that the detox properties of this tea don’t do as much for our body’s as we may think, but the benefits still won’t hurt.

"Specific detox teas offer added benefits in the additional ingredients," says Villacorta. Herbs like lemongrass, ginger, dandelion, and milk thistle all contain properties said to support a healthy liver, one of those organs in charge of your natural detoxifying process. Ginger has also been proven to alleviate oxidative stress within the liver, which indirectly helps the organ perform its cleaning task more efficiently, he says.

As a final word of caution: Select only the best brands of organic and natural detox teas. Many teas contain chemicals, heavy metals and pesticides which will negate your detox efforts. I would also like to take the opportunity to suggest that you keep changing and/or rotating your brands of detox teas as this will make your cleanse even more powerful.

Lemongrass - Lemongrass is a plant that has oils which have been used for medicine. Asian food also sometimes use it as a boost of flavor. There has been a lot of buzz around lemongrass for all sorts of health benefits but so far there hasnt been any conclusive resulst found. So I would just say it could be a nice addition to your body and helps with the flavor.
Iaso tea claims to provide a boost in mental and physical energy as a result of all the “detoxifying” and “weight loss aid” effects. This is one of the more believable claims (along with natural weight loss) since the tea itself becomes a big motivator for people to be healthier. Not only is the tea packed full of healthy, antioxidant-packed ingredients, but as you start eating healthy and exercising consistently, you become more energized naturally.
However, it’s not the detoxifying actions that necessarily make this tea useful in this category. Since most teas like to advertise “detoxifying” type products to turn heads, they leave out the benefits that matter the most. Many of the ingredients of the tea, such as papaya and myrrh, have gastric healing and antimicrobial properties. As well as almost all of the ingredients have potent antioxidants that not only rid our body of impurities and free-radicals but helps our skin from aging and our bodies from becoming ill.
Herbal teas have been an everyday staple around the world for many years now and have been used for its many health benefits. More recently, hemp tea has begun to show up in more health stores and local grocery stores for individual consumption. Hemp tea actually has a long history originating in Asia in which it is created from dried flowers and the leaves of the hemp plant. When harvested at the plants maturest, the cannabinoid content is at its richest, which is used in hemp teas.
