Samantha, yes absolutely! We don’t ever recommend “starve yourself” detoxes. There is a much healthier way to achieve great results than depriving your body of nutrients for a few days. I would recommend sticking to lighter foods though. You can detox from specific things such as sugar and carbs or you can try a smoothie/juice detox. Just try to fill up on salads and veggies rather than heavier stuff like meats during a detox. I hope that helps!
These teas may be useful for promoting detox, but as constituted the teas are not likely to be effective for significant weight loss. Nevertheless, our research team conducted a thorough investigation on the combination of herbs present in the Yogi Detox Tea. Our findings, as well as the truth behind the effectiveness of this tea, can be found below.
Iaso tea claims to provide a boost in mental and physical energy as a result of all the “detoxifying” and “weight loss aid” effects. This is one of the more believable claims (along with natural weight loss) since the tea itself becomes a big motivator for people to be healthier. Not only is the tea packed full of healthy, antioxidant-packed ingredients, but as you start eating healthy and exercising consistently, you become more energized naturally.
Basic green and black teas are rich in antioxidants (and matcha green tea is more than 100 times higher in one powerful antioxidant)-the secret behind boosting your natural cleansing process. "Antioxidants work to reduce the oxidative stress and free radicals in our body, too much of which can cause chronic inflammation and even mutate our DNA strains, leading to cancer and other chronic diseases," says Villacorta.
Whether you’re looking to treat acne or the occasional breakout, Yogi Skin DeTox is great. It’s organic, inexpensive and quite delicious when made into iced tea. But if you’re looking to clear up that monthly pimple or breakout brought on by your monthly cycle or from hormonal changes due to menopause you may want to try out The Republic of Tea’s Get Gorgeous as it helps reduce symptoms of PMS and menopause while clearing your skin.
The nettle tea made from stinging nettle leaves helps the body, especially the kidney and liver in eliminating the toxins. Stinging nettle leaves are a diuretic and have been used for a long time to treat muscle and joint pains such as in the case of arthritis. So if you are a patient of any of these problems, you should not mind trying nettle tea after consulting your doctor.
These bags are tasty, reasonably priced, and made with quality and healthy ingredients that you and your digestive tract can be thankful for. Tea is the beverage that I dearly wish to drink when its the reign of the chilling breeze outside. It is something that helps a lot when its too cold or all you can hear is the sound of nature’s water hitting the ground around called rain. This pleasing drink is enjoyed just because of nature’s vibe that is prevailing around or if the person is addicted to it. Do we give a thought about its benefits for the body and then drink it? Hardly we know any of the benefits.
Research has found that drinking tea may help lower your risk of stroke and heart disease, lower your blood pressure, improve your mood, and even help with weight loss. There is still so much to learn about the detoxifying properties of teas and the many ingredients used in them. What we do know is that it tastes great, helps get healthy nutrients into your body, increases your water intake (which will help with weight loss and other water benefits), and may help ease some pains and inflammation.
