Of all the liver cleansing teas I have tried, this is by far the best taste. I was drinking a glass in the morning and another at night. Then I had the great idea of letting steep all day long and drink it on the way home from work; that was a bad idea as it gave me diarrhea ... so don't steep it all day. I will follow up later with the results of next blood work to see if liver enzyme levels are decreasing.
Organic tea is well known as one of the healthiest beverages that we can consume, and it can provide a lot of benefits for our body. It didn’t take long for the weight loss industry to see the drink’s potential and turn it a “diet” or “detox” product for individuals to use. If you want to read a more in-depth review about the products of Iaso Tea we made an article here that will provide all the information you’ll need. Iaso Tea is one of those detox or weight-loss teas on the market that makes hefty claims of rapid weight loss and overall health benefits, but are these claims valid?
I have experienced exactly the same. I bought Yogi Berry DeTox and after just the second day (one cup per day) I could not sleep a minute. It kept me up all night despite that there are no stimulants (e.g. caffeine) in this version of the tea, or at least none is indicated on the label. It seems that some of us just might be sensitive to some of the ingredients.
Iaso Tea claims to detox your body to help with losing weight more efficiently and clearing your body of harmful toxins. Their claims of purifying the blood and regulating bowel function also go into this category as well. The claim also seems a bit bold to us since the human body has it’s very own way of breaking down and removing these toxins such as our liver, kidneys, and skin. There isn’t much research done to prove that our body needs extra help with these functions, which makes it a bit useless.

I started drinking Yogi tea. Weird comments bc my period started out of no where. So weird. But I drink the tea and the next morning experienced the worst feeling of diarrhea, headaches, and naseau. I had chills, and was extremely weak. I hardly could hold myself up. After using the restroom two hours later I was back to normal. I though I was dying NO TEA is worth that.
Skinny Bunny Tea is a collection of different teas, including their organic Matcha Tea, offering a simple solution to losing weight. These products claim to speed up weight loss and help to reduce hunger and cravings. While the Skinny Bunny Tea collection appears incredibly clean – gluten-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO – and likely beneficial to overall health, the company does not do an adequate job explaining why their tea-based weight loss program is different or superior to any of the dozens of other weight loss solutions available to consumers.
Both nutritionists we spoke to agree that drinking tea when you wake up and before bed can help your system rev up and calm down, depending on which variety you choose. If you're a tea fanatic, work in a few cups throughout the day: Unless you're sensitive to caffeine, you can probably handle five to seven cups a day without any negative side effects, says Lagano.

But there is a need for additional research to prove that they are able to eliminate toxins from your body. Because of this, we like to concentrate on the “getting healthy and feeling healthy” aspects of detox tea, and don’t count on them only to remove toxins. If they do, great, but what we want here are herbs that help boost metabolism, give you energy and clear up your skin. Any detox cleanse effects are just a bonus.
